Shuri Castle, Naha

After lunch, we made a mad dash for the castle. I had heard it was one of the cool things to see in the city, so we rushed in a taxi there. We got to the gates (which were beautiful) and we got to see the oldest wooden gate there, and some pretty stone shishas. We didn't have time to go into the castle and see the BIG red gates which are quite famous, but we did get to have a look over the city from the high vantage point of the city, and it was amazing! We met some other nice tourists there, and had a nice chat with them, but sadly we had to make another mad dash for the airport, as we were really cutting it fine!
