A little Budda

On one side, there was a little cemetery and a garden. If I hadn't been told that this was there, I would never have gone in and seen the cute little buddah, all lit up at night! There are lots of Buddahs, all over Japan, but there are some really nice ones in the Kansai area, which includes Nara, Kyoto and Osaka and the general region. It's very nice to find unexpected things in places like this...like I said before, Japan is always exciting! You never know what you will get, and often there is a complete mash up of new and old things, several religions in one places, and old temples sandwiched between massive skyscrapers. I suppose that's what makes every day a bit of an adventure!
