Reminds me a little of Nara...

This pagoda is just to the left of the main temple building in Asakusa. I much prefer photos of pagodas at night, like the one I took from the top of the Kencho Building in Nara, way back when I visited in August (that seems so long ago!) This one looks very similar, but is lit up in such a nice way that you can really see the colour differences in the wood! I'm not sure when, or where I could actually climb to the top of one, but I think because they are so old and so important, general members of the public wouldn't be allowed up, but that would be so cool to get up there and see it from that vantage point!
