On my way to the bigger, more famous shrine, I came across this one. It was lovely, and had these adorable blow fish wishes. The blow fish is the symbol of Shimonoseki and I thought it was fitting that people could buy one and write a message and a wish on them! I also love the little white paper messages, which they tie on. I've never done one, but should learn what they are all about!
