So I met up with Gavin and Rainer in the afternoon, and we set off for Fushimi Inari, which is only two stops north of the main Kyoto station. It is such a beautiful, famous place. We spent a lot of time at the bottom of the shrine, taking photos of the lovely main gate. I loved the red and gold! I will never tire of how grand it looks!
