There werent just turtles on turtle island, but a whole collection of exotic animals that we dont see here in Japan or at home in England! We learnt very quickly that it was our guide who was letting people into the cages, as noone but us seemed to be allowed in. There were iguanas, toucans, birds, bats, snakes and
an eagle. Definitely in America you wouldnt be allowed to hold an eagle, because they are protected. I think I loved the bat most, he was all furry and kinda wrinkly, but very cute! And of course, I'm not scared of holding snakes, and this one even had its mouth taped shut. My whole experience in Bali really reminded me that I do love animals!
