We did finally discover the place for the Matsuri, which was in a random car park in the middle of nowhere.We saw the big "fire" kanji burned into the grass high on the mountain, as well as listening to some taiko. We wandered around, and admired all the pretty lanterns and huddled against the torches for warmth. Then there was singing, some Kumamon shopping purchases and some great festival food! To finish the evening, they had some very pretty fireworks!
