I had heard that tuk tuks were notorious for overcharging and tipping and stealing money, and as our trip had gone so well, I wasnt keen to get ripped off, so we hadnt taken a tuktuk on our trip. We were pretty close to the rain station, maybe 5 minutes or 10 minutes max, but we learnt that on the hour, the hotel took a tuk tuk to the station, so after we visited the markets, cleaned off and changed clothes (yet again) we tool the cool, 5 star
style tuk tuk, which was great! The ride certainly wasnt long enough, but it was really good fun and I can finally say I got to ride in one! We went back to MBK to buy some more things, have another foot spa and find some souveniers. We ended up very, very lost in the mall, so in the end we went back to the Siam Centre and went to the amazing Magnum Cafe where you could design your own Magnum with toppings! It was a pretty fun place, all decked out like it was Victorian or something, and it was super nice to have a British ice cream bar again after 2 years!
