The next morning, after a nice lengthy breakfast of Starbucks coffee and snacks, we headed off on the tram. It was part of a "Romantic Sapporo Pass", which got us an all day trip on the tram, and a trip on the ropeway. The tram ride was really nice, and as we were waiting I got chatting to a Japanese lady! It was my first proper long conversation in Japanese! The tram was more similar to the Hiroshima ones than I thought, but much prettier on the outside! I didn't get to see them at night, but apparently they have lights all over them and are like miniature Christmas trees at night!
