This hell was these full of small ponds of light grey bubbles. This hell was also really pretty. But more importantly, after we wandered around, we went to the Onsen...which was completely amazing, and very spa like! It was a bit strange at first, but there were three onsens, even one up on the roof! I was really worried at first about being naked in a random hot spring, but it was so nice, you could even look over out to the mountains which surround Beppu! I think I am most definitely an onsen convert!
