Shiny Santander, Soller

This is the famous Banko in Soller (Bank to you and me) which I assumed was a building which used to be a bank, and is very old and carved and beautiful, but in actuality, it is still being used as a bank today, as you can see with the Santander sign. I like that it was gold, it made it all the more striking, and so much better than the usual red colour! The windows were all covered in this lovely filigree wiring. I think it would have made it quite dark inside, but we didnt get to go in to see! Everything in Mallorca always seems closed for some reason or another!
