Consulat de la Mar, Palma

I went to meet Rachel in Palma, and after a trek from the airport, to a hotel, and another new hotel, finding the right bus into town, I finally got off the bus and started exploring the city. It is a very interesting city, with great bus routes, but my main problem was I had no clue of knowing where I was! It is a beautiful place, and I had picked out some places to visit, but I came across this place entirely by accident. It is along the water, and near a bunch of cafes, and is so pretty, but was closed to the public :( That didn't stop me getting photos though!

High Holborn Hotel

These are some photos of the hotel we stayed at in London, it was just magnificent, and so lovely! The room was really nice, it was a shame we only stayed the one night, I wish we could have stayed longer! It has an amazing marble staircase, made from 8 different types of marble, 4 of which do not exist anymore. It was really pretty and we had a great time there!

Railings and Trees, Holborn

I met Mummy and Shelby in London at the weekend, and we went and saw a show, but we were quite early. We went on a lovely walk near the Law courts there, and got some great photos of railings and lampposts, my favourite things to photograph!

Church of St. John the Baptist

Right by the carpark was this church, but by the time we got back from the Tor, it was closed, and I could only take photos of the nice flowers outside and the nice World War I memorial. I love the bright colours of the flowers, they made me so happy!

Glastonbury Tor

Also in Glastonbury, there is a Tor, which apparently means a big tower on a big hill. It required a good walk, and up a MASSIVE hill, but it was worth the big big hill for the lovely views! They were so amazing! The tower was apparently used for a couple of hangings, which doesn't sound very nice, but also was an important part of Arthurian legend. I love the path up to the Tor in this photo, I think it really gives some scale! It was a lovely, hot day, so we got to have a sit at the top and stare at the countryside, which isn't something I see a lot of in Bristol!

Glastonbury Abbey

I dragged Russell off to Glastonbury, as I had heard it was the place to visit in the South West. It is a very kooky town, full of hippies, organic food and all sort of cults and it was quite strange! The abbey, however, is a lovely ruin, which fell down after the dissolution, and we got a nice tour from a Monk. I was quite upset with my camera that day, but managed two OK photos!

Ludlow Dinner for Mummy

Mummy had her birthday the other day, and she wanted to go out to this restaurant in Ludlow. It was very lovely, we all dressed up and sat in the garden outside for a while, then went inside and had a lovely (maybe?) meal. It was a set menu, of all sorts of weird duck pates, custard soups and all sorts of weird things!
