We had seen the Forum a couple times, in our walking around, but hadn't realised it, until we Skyped Josh's mom, so back we went to see the area. It was origionally a marketplace, where there were huge, big important buildings all around it. Nowadays, they are all ruins,
but there are still beautiful pillars and steps left. We climbed up a little hill, and quite a few steps actually, to go and see over the plaza. It was really beautiful and one of the very cliche photo stops for a tourist in Rome, but it sure was pretty. I can see why it is so impressive and popular! It is really amazing to think that these structures stood at the time of the Romans.
