Mission beach really grew on me, and I managed to spend some time in the sun in my little sun chair - although I did get a very bad burn (which I still have) during the 15 minutes that I had my shirt off! One day, Mummy, Elaine and I walked down all the way to the pier at the end, and I actually got in the water to take some photos - it was seriously cold! I had forgotten how cold the Pacific is!
