Kobe Luminaire
On Friday night, I got an earlier bus to Kobe. Mikalay and I had agreed to meet there, since this was his first time in Honshu (since Tokyo). His plane didnt arrive till later, so I set off for the Kobe Luminaire - the big Illuminations. They are only up for 2 weeks, so I was happy we visited then. I got so lost, but finally found a whole lunch of police officers directing people. The lights were to remember the people who died in the big Hanshin earthquake about 10 years ago. They were, quite simply, the most magical thing I have ever seen. They were so amazing. I walked around, taking photos for hours, just listening to the chatter of the people and looking at the magical lights.
