Solar Telescope Project

After all my exams, visits home and trips, I went to work at Uni within the AstroPhysics group. For 2 weeks I worked with a Conorado PST solar telescope, a little tiny thing, taking it out into Royal Fort Gardens and taking photos and videos of the Sun. We also tried to do some calculations of when the ISS (International Space Station) would transit in front of the Sun.
My blog for the project can be found at : www.bristolsolartelescope.blogspot.com
We also did a snazzy website, which can be found at http://www.star.bris.ac.uk/bjm/solar During all the research we did I discovered a pretty little website at atmosphericoptics.co.uk which describes all the science behind the pretty things you see in the sky.
