Our first stop was the Disney Polynesian resort, which is such a cool place. It is basically a large tropical tiki room with a rainforest and a waterfall right in the centre of it. There is even a man whose job it is to give people 'leis' (or flower necklaces) to all the people that enter the hotel. They were pretty pink flowers too!
On our very last day, we hung out at the pool in the morning. We were really lucky to stay with Mike and 
Cindy who are part of the Disney Vacation Club which means they get to stay at the Bay Lakes Tower resort which just opened. It's very snazzy and very fun, and kinda co-ordinates with the Contemporary resort, which was the height of fashion when it opened and has the monorail running straight through it! We decided to try and trade a few more pins, and take the monorail to see a few more hotels, and the dads came too so they could do a bar hop!
Thursday we met up with Mike and Cindy and their kids Sheridan and Chase and went to Disney's Hollywood studios, which used to be MGM, untill they changed the name recently. We did lots of pin trading, and I went on Tower of Terror at least 3 or 4 times, it was as great as I remembered every single time! It is possibly my favourite ride/roller coaster I have even been on, and I've been to many a theme park! We met some lovely people who work in the gift shop, who gave us the pins to match Mummy's collection, even though we didn't have our pins to trade, which was lovely, and just reminded me how nice the people are that they hire to work at Disney!
Vikki is mad about the Magic Kingdom fireworks, which I think are new this year. They are set to music, and because the hotel we were at had a great viewing point,they piped the music in so we could hear it from the 16th floor. These shots were really hard, I'm sure there was an easier way, but I did them all with the 'bulb' function, so they are all a bit hit and miss, but I think they are nice and bright at least!
I saw this sign in Magic Kingdom when I was there with Vikki. This guy became a very famous man because he gave a series of lectures 'the Last Lecture' series, about life's lessons, to his University students when he found out he had terminal cancer. They were lectures about living life, making the best of everything, and living with no regrets. One of his last dreams was to be a Disney Imagineer for a day, and this must be a memento of that day.
I saw this at the entrance to TommorowLand in Magic Kingdom and knew I needed a photo. Tommorow Land has lots of space and futuristic rides (which I didn't get to go on), but is a generally awesome place, Even though this isn't technically a signpost, but similar all the same, I needed a photo of this one for my ever weird and wonderful collection!
Sea World was great, but by about 5pm we were all done and caught a bus over to Magic Kingdom. We knew it would be busy, so we just wandered in and out of the shops on Main Street and took photos of the Castle, which is so pretty and just like a fairy tale!
