Graduated!
My graduation for my Masters degree was meant to be on a random Tuesday in January. Considering I left Kings in May, and finished my dissertation in September, it really does take a long time before they let us graduate! Since it was a Tuesday, I wasn't able to go, which was a shame - but they did send over my graduation certificate! It felt good to finally officially have my Master's degree in Space Physiology!

Meeting Casio
Our good friends Abel and Sinead are some of our favourite people - and they now have little Casio, who was born in September. They are so good for letting us come and stay with them, while they are dealing with a little baby! We had such fun holding him and looking after him at the house - he is a really chilled baby who would sit with Josh and watch tv with him! I think he is so adorable and couldn't help but buy him this cute shirt when were in the shop in Frankfurt!

A visit to Dublin
We had planned really, really well we found out. We had booked a trip to see Abel and Sinead earlier in the year, and had kind of forgotten about it. But it was wonderful when we got back to Frankfurt, and it was cold, so it was great to have a holiday to look forward to. It was so nice to see Sinead, when we got to the airport and it was great to meet their little baby Casio! We just spent our time wandering around the town, seeing the Molly Malone statue too - and doing some shopping at M & S!

Spending our last day at the Beach
Florida is lovely and sunny, even in the winter - but it's not really beach weather. I mean, you definitely won't be sunbathing! But still, we were down at the beach and the sun was setting. The sunsets in Florida are so impressive. Ask anyone from Florida, and they don't understand why visitors are so impressed. But it really is so orange and beautiful - every single day! It was sad that we had to leave Florida and head home and back to the cold of Frankfurt- but we have already booked tickets home for April AND the summer!

Bringing in the New Year in Florida
We spent about a week with Josh's family in Florida. It was quite relaxing, after we finished all the wedding planning meetings we had. Thankfully, they were mainly at the beginning of the week and we were able to just enjoy Florida the rest of the time. We spent some time organizing wedding crafts which we had to do, picking out the groomsmen suits, and eating lots of good food. It was nice just hanging out with Josh's brothers and sisters, going shopping at the new mall, going to Publix and playing Mini Golf. Near to our last day there, in January, we headed down to the beach to see the sunset and all the palm trees. It was so nice to be somewhere so warm and lovely before we headed back to cold Germany!
